Joe Garrick is a successful children’s book author, a graduate of “The” Appalachian State University, and a North Carolina native. His body of work includes "Whose Hoof Is That?", "Billy the Dentist," "The Best Bagel Book,” "It's Okay To Be You, " and many more to come! To date, he’s sold 7,000+ copies of his books in the local area, has been featured on Charlotte’s QC@3 News Show, is a 4x Etsy bestselling author, and is currently nominated for the Mom’s Choice Award for “Whose Hoof Is That?” 

Joe has always loved music, especially rap and hip-hop (and even has some freestyle skills of his own). Though his hip-hop career hasn’t quite taken off, he channeled his creativity into another passion: writing children’s books. Through thoughtful storytelling, humor, rhyming, and colorful illustrations, he shares positive messages that encourage youth education while providing entertainment for the entire family.
